The Saturday Night Live skit was pretty cool. But it spawned that dreaded "more cowbell" thing. It is cool at times. But it can be a little annoying, especially considering that Blue Oyster Cult actually produced lots of really good music, not just "Don't Fear The Ripper", still a most excellent tune.
